Greenbrier Valley EDC Receives $150,000 for Site Development

January 14, 2026 Maxwelton, WV – On Wednesday, January 12, Governor Patrick Morrisey announced $2.1 million in state grants to develop business-ready sites across West Virginia. The funds are from the WV Ready Sites Program and can be used for site engineering and planning, including required studies that must be completed before construction can begin.   The Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation (GVEDC) received two of the 28 grants announced, totaling $150,000.
